Just to confirm ...

Any information here is considered as OOC knowledge and may not have happened in game and/or maybe fanfiction, on how a character might have seen events and hoped they happened or just a story in the characters mind or a background to support their in game story.

We understand that players, especially on a RP Server seek to have more detail to their stories and we respect that.

Please use this forum as it was intended, read the journals and enjoy but remember a player took time and effort to write the words.

Definitions of a Ban

Warnings - Are at the discretion of the DM team and may result in a ban.

Temp Ban - Can have character wiped and can return after the time frame has been completed.

Permanent Ban - All characters on the server wiped and may apply to re-join the community but this is at DM Team discretion and must wait at least a month to appeal.

The annual Gift Day starts today over the next six days, where the West Netheril Trade Company setup a Gift Tree in the top market area. This tradition going back to the first days of the city and gifts are placed under a snow covered tree for the citizens.

An excavation crew has cleared a shaft to another level of the crypts beneath the Conch graveyard.  The crew were funded by West Netheril Trading Company and the company also paid the Solemn Mourners of Conch gang an undisclosed fee to be able dig unmolested.   Oddly, WNTC have not explored the level themselves but instead said they will pay good money to anyone who delves into it and brings back information.  There is much speculation amongst barflies about what is down there, with some saying it must be dangerous if WNTC are not willing to send their own people down there.  Nevertheless adventurers are already rushing to the graveyard.

The sick and their carers in the slums notice a strange phenomenon this week.  For a few days injuries healed slightly faster and the ill recovered a little quicker than expected.  No one could explain what caused the effect but it was experienced by the ill and hurt whatever their condition, but only those in West Conch.  Whatever the cause, it seemed to fade after a few days leaving those who noticed it confused but grateful.

Conch is abuzz with the news that Giona Morton, controversial editor of the Conch Champion, has mysteriously vanished.  He was last seen yesterday at mid-morning in the Conch bank, but Morton did not return to his office or home.  When his staff reporting him missing, WNTC guards searched the office of the Conch Champion and found on Morton’s desk a copy of the latest issue.  The cryptic message “Sit more, be where her port lies” was scrawled in purple ink on the front page.  Morton’s staff could provide no clues other than saying that their editor’s behaviour has become increasingly erratic of late.

Miss Arabelle Nelson who has recently been appointed to the Conch section of the library and apprentice to Albert Pendragon ( junior ), advises that obtaining nobility is generally done by birth right. It has been known that the Empire would and can reward titles to those in service to the empire and have done a great deed that has changed or improved the the standing of the Empire in the region.

Those that have received a title this way have been merchants, adventurers and those in service of the Empire's military, to name a few.

Netherese Library / Re: Information regarding Bone short sword

Albert Pendragon ( junior ), Master Librarian advises the only information that has passed his desk was an old poster for work at the Denvar's Bridge. He goes onto say that the sword in which you refers to was a lost relic and is rumoured to be made from a femur of a Solar.

Maybe the Bridge Master Richam will have a follow up job, if the sword is returned to him.

//OOC Might be something I would look into in the future, relating to a follow on quest. If you want to follow it up yourself as a personal plot, you need to start with a Modmail on Discord. Hope that helps
