Thanks for having a go at the quest. It is a new/old one so there may be some bugs I didn't pick up on.

I will look at it again tonight, with your feedback in mind. If you want to have another go at it in the morning ( 8 hours from this post ), that would be great :)

Thanks again

Currently, there is no lower level of the Orc Cave.

The loot/chest are connected to the same ones in the River cave that need to be looked into.

We will check the timer also on the spawns

Thanks for taking the time to provide the info.

Knightly Order - Swords of the Lady

The Swords of the Lady, commonly called the Lunatics, were a fanatical knightly order devoted to the goddess Selūne the Moonmaiden. The order was led by a handful of crusaders, mystics, and Silverstars. The group comprised clerics, druids, rangers, and mystic wanderers.

Their actions were widely regarded as strange and eccentric, and people thought them mad, hence their nickname, "Lunatics".

However, when the Swords of the Lady responded to threats from the goddess Shar the Nightsinger, they acted swiftly, logically, and ruthlessly. These zealots were ready to die for their faith. However, thanks to their close association with the church of Selūne, death was usually temporary.

They could travel great distances in a short time, suggesting the order commanded teleportation magic or had access to a network of fey crossroads and backroads. They were a long-standing order, having existed during the time of the ancient empire of Netheril.

The current base of operations is the Moon Glow Keep, located to the south of the new Abbey of the Moon which is at the headwater of the Gillan River. Lord Gillan was a Silverstar of the Knightly Order - Swords of the Lady, who died in the Orc battle defending the emerging town of Hadrian.

Leader: Lady Averil

Colors: Blue and Silver

History: Abbey of the Moon Established in 12 NY as a temple to Selūne, this abbey attracted devout followers from across Netheril. It served as a retreat as well as a place of learning from its perch atop the highest peak in the Abbey Mountains, Selūne’s Crest; it was an icon of peace and restfulness for hundreds of years.

The Nether Age (326-543): As the abbey grew in popularity, more and more written genealogical and religious records were stored there. In 533, however, a forest fire ravaged the nearby mountains, engulfing the religious stronghold in its flames. While many attempts were made to rebuild it, none succeeded.

Over time many adventurers headed to the ruins and recovered artifacts, that were returned and given to the Knight of the Lady of the Sword. These Knights watched over the new Shrine and Gardens made in the image of Selūne. The Knights built a Keep close by to aid in there work and to offer protection to those in the region. To this days the Knights make the pilgrimage to the old ruin site, to recover more artifacts and to make sure adventurers return the artifacts to the church.

Of late the Knights have watched the Town of Hadrian spring up from a fishing village, to supply the Enclave of Valstiir. The Knights were present when the Orcs attacked the Towns Southbank 5 years ago and helped to push them back into the hills. Sadly on this day, the Knights were unable to save the founder and nephew of Lady Valstiir, even though she thanked them for their efforts the lines of communication broke down with little contact over the years. Nothing has been heard of the Orcs since this battle but reports show an increase in numbers again.

Setting Information / Faction: Arcanist Guild [ CLOSED ]

Arcanist Guild

The Arcanist Guild is an elite organisation that fosters research, discovery and the recovery of magical artefacts and lore. Each Arcanist Guild considers itself its own guild and has little to no ties with other Arcanist guilds across the empire, save for meetings between high ranking members and the sharing of knowledge, both legally and illegally. Having said that, though, all arcanists are welcome in each guild house no matter where they are from.

Beyond the foolish conspiracy theories about the Arcanist Guild, its true purpose is the research of magical spells and artefacts and the training of new arcanists. They scour the whole frontier and beyond for any rumours of magical items, and new research. The fervor of such research is often quoted as them "Searching for the next Nether Scrolls". When not researching in the safety of the Enclave and their guild hall, Arcanists will commit research and searches out in the field; usually with a team of arcanists or alone. Though either alone or with a team, all Arcanist Guild field teams always travel with at least a squad of either Dukarrus Legionnaires or private contract soldiers for additional protection and to keep unwanted eyes and ears away from the region.

Leader: Archmage Vyctoria Valstiir

Demeanour: Elitist, Experimental, Ambitious

Further Details:

The Arcanist Guild of Valstiir is like many things on the Enclave, owned by the Arch-Mage Valstiir, the Arcanist Guild itself is not located on the citadel but on another plane.  Valstiir is not one of the heads of the guild and prefers to let them handle such things as the day to day running of the place. While she does not interfere with guild activities she is still a powerful force within it. In return for this generosity, however, the Arcanist Guild has largely become the research team for Valstiir herself, working on a number of projects of magical nature.

There are 3 main Guilds that operate at this time in the empire and each guild house has 3 heads to lead them: Head Inventor, Head Mentalist, Head Variator. Each of these heads reports their respectful Head of the Order who gently guide the guilds in times of need. In extreme times all heads of the guilds come together behind the 3 leaders to form the council of 12 in order to resolve whatever issue has lead to this point.

how could say....oh...seduction of npcs work? I'm assuming and quiet certain it would need a dm to control said npc but could it work for a pc persistent enough?

Yep and maybe you could influence them with task done or your reputation.

Citadel/Enclave Sky Tile Issue

Due to an issue, we have had to update this tileset which has caused the feature of the sky to be removed.

We are in the process to fix this, so be aware the over the edge will be grass for a short period of time. This will not stop you from playing.

They hold estates in both Hadrian and Valstiir, the house in Hadrian is small and there to control any interests the Noble Houses may need to supply the Enclave.

Hadrian once a small fishing village has grown rapidly of late after the arrival of the Valstiir Enclave, some say to fast and is affecting the local area too much.

The Archmage Valstiir has entrusted the three Noble Houses to serve/supply the Citadel and in return given land/power to use towards there own goals. Lady Valstiir cannot do everything, so relies on the houses to do their jobs but is ever vigilant.

There is no reason for another Noble House could not find a way into the Archmages fold, but you would be careful not to tread on too many toes. It might be a niche area that the others houses are not involved in heavily.

A quick/basic rundown of the current Nobles areas of influence is...

House Dukarrus - Militaristic
House Reschotti - Trade
House Skettus - Investment/Artifacts

Hope that helps

That would be up to you. If you need a noble title to tell your story, we can have a chat about what your plans are but you would be starting with little more than a title and a crest. Becoming the Mayor of Hadrian would be a good path to gain allies and support for your house. Just as an example.

Other options/paths will become available over the coming weeks.

I hope that answers your question.

We apologize to those players that it is affecting. The issue has been advised and hoping the issue will be fixed asap.

Thank you for your patience.

- FIXED - we are not waiting for a Beamdog fix on this one and remade some areas to causing players to lag and/or crash.

Mines and Caverns tileset

We have lost access to this tileset for the moment due to a Beamdog update. The issue has been advised. Access to areas IG is still fine but will be unable to do any fixes/updates to most of these areas until we have a fix for the toolset. Hopefully soon :)
