Let it be known that House Mistari will not aid the individual known as the Apprentice Xayatoth until he submits himself to me for retribution for his harm to my person.

The House does support the Upper District, the city and realm as a whole and the Nebular University institution. We will aid any of them whenever needed.

The Maiden of Pain demands retribution and she teaches through pain.

Amusingly, the symbol of Loviatar has been torn off from the remnants of the poster that was used to preface the following one..

The lack of aid from a no-name priestess of a Power nobody has ever heard of means nothing to me.

Continue being a worthless waste of space whilst the remainder of Upper Conch stands strong against the shaggy tide of man-eating monsters and similarly worthless drug pushers.

Public Notices / A Hunt!

Following a fine idea by a Market-dweller, the Nebular University has opted to sponsor a hunt for the benefit of Conch and its people.

In five days time, a horn shall sound and those whom seek to do some good for their fellows and line their coin purses with my gold will set out into the wildlands surrounding Conch and gather as much edible, non-Humanoid meat as they can get their hands on; the bigger the better.

To this point, there is a forty thousand gold coin prize for he whom brings the lions' share of the meat, and fifteen thousand gold a head for the next two runners up.

Monsters are not welcome to the prize, and there will be a ten thousand gold reward for anyone whom viciously beats any of the local slum-dwelling monsters of renown and publicly declares his superiority over the cannibalistic slaver-beasts during the Hunt.

It is because you haven't yet given filth like flesh-eating beasts the privilege of living where you do. Rally, and demand the West Netheril Trading Company throws these monsters to the dogs so that you can feel safe at home.
To the Slums, be better. You're a blight on Conch. Throw out the monsters by blade and fire and rejoin the rest of us in an actual city run by Netherese, as it should be. Not coal-skinned Underdarkers.]

More posters go up, along with a passionately delivered speech over the Proclaimers. These ones seem relegated to the Markets alone, and are doggedly replaced when removed..

These pieces of parchment are clearly writ upon in magical ink that possesses a glowing, bold red colour. Worse still, in a flagrant display of magical aptitude, the posters have been enchanted to shout out their contents every hour or so to anyone within earshot. They are only posted in Upper Conch and the Market District..

Have you ever wanted to play a minion to the best race in the world, a Half Dragon?

Good news, I'm playing one.

Evil aligned characters will get along with with this concept, and there is room for you to take the lead in many situations.
Obviously you should expect to be treated by a minion even if you're not, HDs aren't exactly the nicest kind of folks.


Levichast, Scion of Vathysyra is a Green Half-Dragon recently arrived in the Frontier and he wants YOU to roll up a minion.

[A librarian comes about to say that Demon Metal is simply hematite mined in the Abyss, taking on the fiendish qualities. Smithing or repairing such things would require a trip to some layer of the Abyss to do so.]

Unlike an MMO, levels have no bearing on what you are allowed to do on this server.

Players may feel like they need the levels, but I assure you, you can manage without them.

I've noticed and had sent to me as screenshots a lot of extremely negative and downright toxic remarks from the community to eachother.

I expect better, guys.
Players should remain positive, helpful, and understanding of each other, and with the clear understanding that characters in game are not the players in real life.

The chaotic evil jerkoff villain doesn't eat babies in real life, and the Paladin hero has lied before.

You're not your characters in real life and I will be severely reprimanding OOC toxicity from here on out.

If it will result in the death of a character, clear this with us BEFORE you post the bounty or hit.
You will be considered breaking the "no pvp resulting in killing without a dms approval" rule otherwise.

If it's a bounty on beating someone or stealing one of their belongings it's fine, but remember that rule above.

I'm going to be running a prelude in roughly 24 hours from now, evening Australian Eastern Standard time.
Interested players should PM me (DM Mortui) on the forums or on Discord for further information.

The basic information that is available to everyone is that you will be evil, or at the very least neutral.
You will be anti-Hadrian if not entirely anti-Netheril.

You should expect to be given goals to pursue, but are also expected to have your own!
Main and new characters only, though older characters may join after the prelude.

It has come to my attention that there are some LUDICROUSLY overpowered items in jewelcrafting
Instead of making me go through every single item individually (of which there are thousands) please tell me if you notice one that's too strong!
This includes flat damage soak for physical
Immunity to fear
Immunity to any other status ailments
Please don't make me do all that legwork.

Likewise, if anything seems too weak, let me know.
I can work a lot faster with specifics instead of going through the thousands of crafting items individually.

I'll give it a few days to come forth with the items where I'll give a replacement with the rebalanced version.

If I notice a stupidly powerful crafting item in someone's inventory in a few weeks, you're going to just lose it.
Better to be safe than sorry, guys, this is for the good of the server.

My sense of humour is cryptic and worries most of you but I assure you I'd rather you guys enjoy what I put out rather than hate it. So tell me if you're concerned, and I'll try to keep my needless facetious responses in the bin where they belong.
