I'm trying to arrange a time/date that will allow the most people to attend.

I don't want to have the party too far after Halloween because there is a winter party I want to hold before Wren's end of term in December.

But, I'm sure the player base can forgive me for "parties too close together" if it means more people get to enjoy the awesome work Rainman has been doing for me on the party location.

So, please vote on when you would be available. This is just a very general idea right now. Once we get a weekend picked then we can work on an exact time.

You can vote for more than one option and vote changing is allowed.

This is a total pet peeve of mine and I know it will be shot down but I'd like to see the requirement for forum usage if your character joins a faction. Especially if they join a DM faction.

I know it would require extra scripting but I think it'd be fun to give them some dialogue.

The whores could have the option to be told to scram and that triggers them to unspawn for a few min or at least turn and walk off.

Or an option to "accept services" where it ports you to a room specifically for that option and black screens you for a sufficient "rest period". You mechanically rest (gets spells back, dispel current castings etc), lose coin, and get a % chance of being relaxed (maybe some kind of short spell like boon) or diseased.

On the commoners they could have the scram option as well.

I think it would be neat if very rarely the commoner would have a quest. Something short and simple yet different than the other scripted things. Maybe a few options but only accessible if you choose to talk to the NPC and then again only rarely.

This is a hard subject.

I agree with some. If your character doesn't have a reason to be there, then don't. But I'm also on the "don't have a lot of time to play and get involved in complex plots" list. So to some I'd be one of those characters that shouldn't be there.

I also hate large events but because of the server's general size turning people away wouldn't work very well because then they just log out and the warm bodies in the seats number drops.

I am pretty much useless on big events. Not just because of my build but because I lag like hell during combat (and I even bought a gaming laptop!).

So even if I played a warrior character I'd not be much help.

This reply isn't much help but I agree with the spirit of the OP I just don't think it's feasible with the server population the way it currently is.

My gnome has had this problem since the server opened.

I have found no way to get the neck back. I've even tried reporting it. The neck is always either gone or a mirror metallic.

The only way I've found to have a neck is to have a "necklace" on her clothing. That vanishes periodically too and I am left with no neck again until I go back and pay the money at the tailoring models to change the neck model back to a necklace appearance.

Have the entry transition only allow elven/half elven through unless you are partied with one.

Right now the bridge NPC says non elves aren't allowed but they aren't being stopped from going in.

I think a timer would be a good idea.

You can't hit (and succeed on) the same mark more than once in a 24 RL hour period.

I also like the gold idea with DM supervision for other specific items.

My gnome has one name.

I see many characters with one name. Just try not to use character names from books or tv or movies or whatever, IMO. (not a DM)

There is rumor there is a gnomish village in the module.

Gnomes are "free" as of a hundred years or so but there are still several in slavery for various reasons. It is not strange for a gnome to be free.

The two noble houses Reschotti and Skettus have gnomen slaves. it is also rumored that one or the other still breeds them.

They are very much second class citizens and expect to be treated as such.

As far as names, I suck at naming my characters so can't help you there. :)

The most common way to emote is with **, yes. You will occasionally see people use other methods [] and -- but most use the **.

The second story issue is due to the hak tileset being used. There are very few of the buildings/trees from it that vanish.

I have the exact same issue and have brought it up numerous times. LOL

As far as the black, I think that is an EE thing. Just move around and it should go away. I get it a lot. Mostly in the boat to Valstiir.
