Journals & Backgrounds / Background of Balbor the Orc
« on: September 11, 2018, 06:11:12 pm »
A young orc, once part of a tribe. Living greatly among each other, looting, plundering, camping and hunting. Much happened upon the tribe, they would fight for what they most liked, even to the point of killing. Weakness was not tolerable, most had to prove their strength in battle, as a young child. Many survived, but those who did not were shamed, and shunned. One night a gathering had occurred, to split the plunder, and to drink ale for the most recent pillaging of a tiefling village. Times were great, ale was chugged, and a bonfire, warmed the orcs for the cold night.
Breezes blew and winds roared, the bonfire barely alive, and the party had settled, now only the scouts stayed awake to keep eye on the camp as the orcs slept through the night. The night in pitch black, of darkness, all seemed normal. A set of small footprints were faintly heard, not by those who slept, but from scouts. They tried to spot what caused the faint sounds, but could not see from the darkness, which was thought to be the night.
Quieter and quieter it got as the darkness got darker and darker, it appeared that a spell of darkness had be summoned over the whole camp. But who? Who attacked this temporary camp? The camp was always moving, how did they find the camp?
Out of the darkness, the shape of a tiefling was formed.  Seeking revenge of the destruction of it's village. It quietly killed the scouts that were blindly on watch, ridding of their bodies, before anyone could sense the suspicious smell of corpses. And by tent to tent it killed the different tribe members, leaving their bodies to rot. There and there only in the family tent, the small orc was laying, restlessly under his blankets, where he watched, as his family was killed. The only thing that he had knew, was that the doer of the murder, was a tiefling, that wore no shoes. He memorized the feet, trying to find where and who this tiefling was.
Years past, and the small orc found nothing, but the words of a supposed tiefling criminalized in society of the Human town of Hadrian, by the name Pheroth. He searched for such, not finding him there when he could be, until he had settled down in Sulivan's Port where he drinks, eats and sleeps in the inn, at his common table. Knowing that the tiefling was killed, enraging his personal anger for them, but done in the same place that he stays.
Now, he hunts vile creatures, and every once in a while, collects the toes of the fallen enemies, of tiefling origin, putting it onto his necklace, as a trophy.

An Order not fixed or involved in Political and Economic issues within the society. The Order of the Diversifiable Deities is one that is open to a variety of Religions, the fixed rule upon the situation is that it must be within the standards of Neutral or Good Alignment. Not to the individual, because any individual will believe that their god falls into that category, but it must be a public view. It will be decided over time of discussion and review upon the given name. It can also be viewed as a more...simple... life. They focus on priorities, such as: Food production, Purification of Water (Drinkable), Herbal and Medical advancement and production. In the Order, they will focus, mainly, to each other, but may help, and guide the peoples who come and seek it from us. As an Order that is of diversity to the concept of deities, we will also be open to knew ideas and concepts as we also, will spread and inform those who seek. It is a mutual relationship between the two, learning from each other, helping each other become greater than ones self. It has been known that one person is not as good as 2 persons. So come, come and join or at least come seek knowledge so we can share opinions and concepts.

Journals & Backgrounds / Theren Sontr'e's Past and to be Future

Theren Sontr'e

An elf, one that is unordinary to others. He chose his path towards a being a monk, after he was left from his elvish parents. He was taught to be acceptable, kind, and friendly to all peoples and friendly creatures. People seemed to be almost...surprised...of their treatment from the monk, due to his racial features. Many did not expect him for his behavior for being an elf. They thought, he would be raciest and unkind to the different species. But he is unlike other elves... He has taken time for him to learn the ways of the inner spirit. This is important for him to avoid the influence of evil upon him. Thoughts also become a blockage towards his neutral opinion based on information and history. His only solution towards this was to meditate to clear his mind. Once he had mastered his training he had a desire to learn more, while helping others. And he did that. He ventured around aiding all to help the most.
There was only once case that kept him at work above all others, even to this day. To aid his friend Keelie from the dangers of life. He kept doing this, no matter the circumstance and will keep doing this until he is told otherwise. During this time of aiding Keelie he learned different arts that he was unfamiliar to, the art of religion and divine magics. He was quite...interested...in these new discoveries. He had no idea that religious art could physically help others in aid of injury. It was taught to him that herbs were the most effective, but not in all cases.  He began to study it, but in more depth and in the end of the studies he had his decision of what he would follow, his view and outlook of what things should be. His religion to follow Amaunator had began. He believed that being lawful would be a good way to keep chaos from occurring.
Though he did not have much control over it, chaos still occurred. Keelie had made a blunt decision to run away from the monastery that she had been raised at from birth. She ran away to go along with her half-brother Kadmus in search of their father. This was important to her and he had no right to keep her from doing this, though he had a suspicion that the Priests of Amaunator were raising her for some kind of ritual. He agreed to her escape in one condition, if he may watch over her.
