The tailor seems to only let you make changes to items up to AC 3. I can’t find an option to change chest pieces to any AC higher than that, even if you copy the appearance of your armor to it. Is there another place to change higher AC equipment?

Is there anything like a level requirement to joining the various factions? Also, is it better to send a request on the forums or try to find a faction representative in game?

I’ll add to this, too. My character is also experiencing this problem. However, after the reset  today ( April 8 )my character’s thigh and pelvis are also now metallic.

Update: My character no longer has metallic parts. However, my meck is now strange and clippy looking.  Like the head floats above it insead of being on it. It is easy enough to hide with armor, however.  One step closer to being back to normal!

General Discussion / Appearance Question

I was not sure where to put this, so I just stuck it here. I made my character and am happy with him, but for some reason ( I guess I missed it on the body model) his neck is made of metal, regardless of what armor ( or no armor) he wears. It’s a minor thing, really, but something I would like to change. Is it possible to edit appearance after the start area?

Hi All,

    Unsung here. I was super excited to learn that Neverwinter was coming back with multiplayer,  as it holds a special place in my heart from when I was a kid pouring hours into my computer on this game. I’m an experienced roleplayer who has roleplayed across several different titles ( warcraft, swtor, champions online) but never on here. I’m familiar with D&D and its concepts but not with Netheril, so this was a cool find. I look forward to playing with you!

P.S. It may take me some time to warm up to roleplaying in a new community, so if I am hesitant for a while don’t take it the wrong way, I’m just shy until I get my bearings!
