We understand that getting yourself involved in a new community and new game world can be difficult or intimidating, but don't worry about it! We're all people here like you and we're all excited to make this Server as great as it can be with YOU.
First things first though, we need to know who you are. Introduce yourself to us all here so we can better get to know you as we enter this exciting world together.

Hi! My name is Daniel Thompson. I go by the persona of CannibalArcade. I'm careening recklessly towards my 40's. I have 4 kids, 2 of which are addicted to memes and think MY jokes are corny. I'm a graphic designer and art department manager for a commercial print shop. I used to play on a couple of other servers but its been such a long time, I might as well be a complete noob. My knowledge of D&D is next to nothing. I only have the basic grasp of fantasy tropes I've picked up from movies and video games, so my roleplaying will either be entertainingly naïve or painfully frustrating. :mrgreen:

Hello my name is OctaynOne. Octayn is a name given to me by a good friend when he mistook it for Otacon from Metal Gear Solid for Octayn. Being a tech nerd he found it fitting, by the time he realized his mistake it was already a done deal. I'm not new to NwN or D&D. I've been playing NwN since it first release back in 2002. I've played on more than a few PWs and have more than a few P&P campaigns of D&D under my belt. It has been a long time and I look forward to a lot of great RP.

Hey all, I'm Toni aka Tinker and I have been playing NwN's since about 2003-2004 and since that time I have played on many different servers and DM'ed on two, one was a Dragonlance server and the other a Forgotten Realms server up till very recently. I love this game as it allows me to relax and unwind and it has always been something I could do around my three kids, should not call them kids anymore two are almost adults :)
I enjoyed creating Netheril with the team we had the first time around and was excited when we heard of the upcoming release of EE and the prospects of new blood this will hopefully bring into this old game, what I think I like more about NwN's is the communities that seem to be built from the game and the lifelong friends I think most of us have made through our various adventurers.
I look forward to the mischief we will all get up too in-game and hope to create a world with this wonderful team we have that players and DM's alike can come and have a bit of fun on.

Shackled here, I've been involved with DnD for around about a decade and have DM-ed on several servers as well as hosting a regular PnP campaign with some chums here locally. In my own games I tend to move away from excessive mechanics and number crunching and towards just telling a great story. Despite NWN's limitations in that regard, I try to use a similar style of play here.
I spend most of my time on Netheril working on our lore and and faction details with the occasional jump into the toolset. However my favourite past time is spent running around in game, helping players do cool shit. I am a sucker for high-risk, high-reward ideas and players that aren't afraid to have their character die in a blaze of glory or 'lose' to tell a great story. So once we go live I expect lots of PMs about cool stuff you all wanna do 8-)

I've been playing NWN for about nine years now.
Met the server owners on the first server I ever played on and have been lucky enough to consider them friends ever since.
I enjoy plots and stories. I really dislike PvP and heavy mechanics.
I've never DMed though I have assisted with my share of their plots and played a few one off accessory characters to aid when needed.
I love PnP with the right group. Get me a good story line and a "rule of cool" DM and I'm all for it. The strict rules lawyers and min-maxers need not apply. :)

I’m Master_Sarevok. I’m an experienced Rper that has had experience on various servers both in forgotten realms and in custom lore from perma death to not perma death. I personally prefer some form of perma because when I get into pvp rp conflicts with other player factions, I like to see my big trap leave them dead and staying dead. Plus it makes the rp a lot more right knuckles which I love, cause I know if I mess up I’m just as likely to die and find players who can do that to me good rpers
I’m also a helpful person and often will have a spare pc I might use to help new players get into the game.

I got NwN the day it was released in Australia and have never truly stopped playing it since then. Interesting fact, the day I found out about the toolset and multi-player I stopped playing the main campaign. To this day I have never finished it.
I worked with the toolset for a long time before I discover that you could make custom content and that is where I am now. I love to create new things or alter existing one to make the game better. I suppose that's why I'm head of Custom Content here. ;)
I have played on many servers. DMed on 2 as well as working on many other projects over the years.

I build stuff, simple and easy. There is no difference to me for an area to well build or well designed they are one in the same and should be. These areas need to functional but still give you as the player a way to tell your story, either in a city or in the wilds.
Anyway, that's the builder in me talking and I hope to hear from you all about your thoughts. Maybe a quest idea?
As for history, I have been a DM on others servers and played NWN for quite some time now like most of you all. Some of you I know and others I don't, so if you have a question or feedback please send it my way or via the team and we will do the best to answer it.

Yo im Cptzambie or Zambie for short. I have only ever played on one server City of Arabel, But i have now left that server. I am from Australia so GMT+10 is my timezone. Also i am relatively new to the game in general seeing i have only played it for one year. :)

Hey all. My real name is John - I will be 30 in April and am a single father. I live in the central US in CST(Chicago) time zone. I have been playing NWN since its release and own the original box copy, the GOG version, and now the Steam version; it is certainly one of my favorite RPGs of all time. I don't have a lot of traditional pen and paper experience, but I have played a few games of 5th edition and own all the books. I do enjoy RPing but I am not terribly good at, hopefully I get better playing with all of you.
In real life I am a computer engineer and work primarily in AWS doing automation and application deployments. To that end, I can write code in Python and Java (with some Googling, Java is not my forte). I also have quite a bit of experience in the NWN toolset and am very familiar with their scripting language.
I go by jskyn on discord and my player name in game is Johan Grey.

I kinda got back into this game after seeing on Steam and was like "Oh hey! I can play this game with one of my friends!" Then I found this server. Now I'm here to try my hand at RP and my friend will probably join soon as well so expect to see him as well.

Hey everyone! I'm FooS. I have been playing NWN on and off since release. It is a welcome change compared to the typically competitive games I choose to play.
Until now I have primarily played action-oriented PW's with a focus on character builds rather than character story. I have been both a player and a DM on such servers.
I am enjoying my introduction to a more RP-focused environment and have met a few cool people on the way. I look forward to furthering my PC's stories and leaving a lasting impact on the server.

Hello all, KingsReach, I’ve been involved with NWN as both player and DM since the mid-2000s and have been encouraged back after an absence with the promise of EE.
As a new community and one already converted over to EE, Netheril seems a convenient fit to get back into the Persistent World gameplay.

Hello all!! Yithare here, or Yith for short! I used to play NWN waaaaay back when I was a teen in the 2000's. My big brother got me into a PW server when I first started and ever since I've been hooked on all things DnD! Sadly the old PW server I used to play with hasn't gone up for EE yet, but here's to hoping! In the meanwhile I am happy to be here and RP in this PW. It's a different setting than what I'm used to, but so far I'm loving it! I look forward to Rping and questing with you lot! :D

Unsung here. I was super excited to learn that Neverwinter was coming back with multiplayer, as it holds a special place in my heart from when I was a kid pouring hours into my computer on this game. I’m an experienced roleplayer who has roleplayed across several different titles ( warcraft, swtor, champions online) but never on here. I’m familiar with D&D and its concepts but not with Netheril, so this was a cool find. I look forward to playing with you!
P.S. It may take me some time to warm up to roleplaying in a new community, so if I am hesitant for a while don’t take it the wrong way, I’m just shy until I get my bearings!

Recklessfireball here. I'm getting back into NWN nights after the bioware server lists went down way back in the 2000's. This game is pretty much the only online rpg format that ever appealed to me and I'm ecstatic to see it getting a chance for a come back. I've been on just briefly to play my character; a vain, indolent, half-elf enchanter named Prosper Feign. I'm still getting my land legs, so to speak (kind of having to learn everything all over again- plus the many special server features), but the bit of roleplay I've enjoyed so far has been really great and I look forward to more of it in the future.

When I'm not shoveling 3ft of snow off my driveway or dodging ice-induced exploding trees I am either spending time with my wife and son or playing D&D/video games.... Or I'm at work :'(
I am new to NWN and new to RP servers on video games so I'm really looking forward to diving into Netheril with you lot.
Enjoying the community thus far and I'm maintaining high hopes for my NWN future. If you see a grizzly looking man named Rødregn Vilhjerte (intentionally difficult to pronounce... He's foreign... ) enjoying a drink at the inn feel free to join him and educate him about the current goings on in this alien yet lovely city he's found himself in.

I've been lurking around for a couple of weeks so thought it best to introduce myself.
My name's Matt and I live in Oxford, UK. I've been roleplaying in games since around 2003 after a chance encounter in Star War Galaxies (RIP) led me down a deep, dark rabbit hole that I've never been able to pull myself out of. Now I DM two PnP games and with the release of EE I've found myself back into NWN in a big way.
Despite my love of the game, I'm pretty much a NWN amateur; I used to play on City of Arabel, and although I was never really able to properly dedicate a huge amount of time to it, the great experiences I had there kept me coming back off-and-on over the years.
I'm currently playing a complete 'blank-slate' merc character called Tam Tasina and I'm really enjoying meeting you all and discovering the server as I go. Great to see so familiar names floating around, too!

I'm a29 year old Brit in New Zealand so I'm on at weird times compared to the American lot.
If I'm not working or on NWN I'm probably drawing something.
I'm rather new to persistent worlds and online NWN but I played the main game when it released back over 15 years ago.
Also never had the chance for DnD and roleplaying in general so I'm a bit of an amateur.
Looking forward to bumping into you guys online and getting into some event shenanigans.

It was wonderful to discover NWN EE as I had missed rping for so many years. The rp on the MMORPG's often times was very difficult to get into compared to this game.
I have to admit that a Netheril setting is very new to me so forgive me if I'm slow at picking it up.

I've played PnP (you know, pen and paper, stuff you make from trees) since 1984. I've played NWN since it came out, I've built stuff for several Persistant Worlds back in the day, I've built a complete PW and ran it for a couple of years until time and interest ran out. After a longer hiatus, I stumbled over NWN:EE on Steam and thought, what the heck, maybe I should drop my StarWars KOTOR addiction and return to NWN? I looked for a RP-Heavy World with a lot of players in my daytime, and stumbled again, this time over Netheril, so here I am.
So, I created an account and a character. It's technically an illegal character, so I just tested it for an hour (two small quests, the bees and the doll). Now I'm waiting for a DM to approve my application to play her, which will probably take a day or two since I'm in Sweden and most likely awake while all DMs sleep....

My Character is Xtina Evera. My real life name is Christina (not hard to see how I made my character name). I am new to the neverwinter scene but having a ball! My entire family plays....(Dad (Kadmus and others), step mom(Keelie), mom, boyfriend(Drakthur), step brother(Theren)) I am 23 years old and I have 3 cats. I play video games when I'm not working. So you can find me on pretty much every Friday and sometimes other days of the weekend. I live in Arizona so video games is like the only thing to do right now.

Yo, I'm Ryne, I'm the one who plays Cele and whatever meme character tickles my fancy (Meat, Potatoes, Sneaky... Guess I have a thing for half-orcs). Been around this server for like a month or two when I first started playing this game, but I've quickly come to like it here a lot.
IRL I'm training to be a naval aviator, so my schedule can be pretty wonky. BUT I get to fly in fast planes which is pretty sweet (and terrifying). If you've ever seen the movie Top Gun, I'm training to be Goose/Hollywood.

My character in game is Rassali. She might be moody and be going through some emotional turmoil, but life is pretty alright for me! I recently left my job as a railroad conductor (trains are awesome and scary) to learn software development and I love it! I'd love to eventually make my own games, but that would be a side hobby/project. Not a job.
This has been my first persistent world experience and I've been having a blast! I wasn't really sure what to expect, but it's turned out to be a lot of fun and I love being a part of this ongoing story!

I've been sober for 2 years now.. and then they released EE...
Now i think im fully blown back into my habit.
I was formally known as Turbospew for those who remember the pre-2007 days which later evolved into my current user name. Ive been playing NWN since its release in 1995(?) and multipaying it since probably a year later.
I love playing the scammer or the outcast, but have tried my hand at afew successful team-goodies.

A very belated introduction here... I'm Fiverine. Parent, metalhead, wargamer. Leyoz lured me into NWN:EE and N:AoM back in October 2018, and I've been playing it since. I've since played some EfU and Cormyr & the Dalelands but most of my NWN time was been in Netheril.
I started out with two (now deceased) characters, Dorian Steer (cleric of Jergal) and Saruke Farsaidh (barbarian), before settling into my best known character here Morgaine Pritchard (buff bard). I have a few alts creeping around, but you'll have to find out who they are yourself...
