We are currently coming up with some new class ideas and would love any additional suggestion from you the players. So feel free to post up ideas you have in here.

The Artificer is given a sword that only he can use. This sword may be upgraded with special abilities that activate when the PC is near a Mythallar, a Mythallar Pylon, or is being powered with a Mythallar Shard. AB, Enhancement, Damage types, keening

Level 3: The Artificer is given an armor that only he can use. This armor may be upgraded with special abilities that activate when the PC is near a Mythallar, a Mythallar Pylon, or is being powered with a Mythallar Shard. AC, Damage Immunities, Damage Resistances, Low level On-Hit effects 

Level 5: The Artificer is given a helmet that only he can use. This helmet may be upgraded with special abilities that activate when the PC is near a Mythallar, a Mythallar Pylon, or is being powered with a Mythallar Shard. Ultravision, See Invisibility, Perceptions

Level 7: The Artificer is given a shield that only he can use. This shield may be upgraded with special abilities that activate when the PC is near a Mythallar, a Mythallar Pylon, or is being powered with a Mythallar Shard. AC, Damage Immunities, Damage Types, low level on hit effects



When I say given, I mean they would have to make it. Spend gold on it or something. This is just kind of the basic idea.

To balance this, we'd have to give them some kind of points that they can spend.[/size]

I've played with the thought of an adaptation of the "Dread Necromancer" class that used the bodies of dead PCs to animate permanent minions whose stats reflected the person they were animated from.
